The LSI Tarari Content Processor family of content-inspection processors are available as silicon chips, boards and software acceleration components designed for network equipment, appliance and server vendors in both the Enterprise and Service Provider markets. Now Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) at wire speeds, ranging from 100 Mb/s to over 16 Gb/s is a real possibility. The entire family is software-compatible. The Tarari Content Processor product family represents a technological revolution for Layer 7 processing. These products offload and accelerate applications such as anti-virus, anti-spam, intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), compliance, content-based routing (CBR), content-based billing, QoS/QoE, bandwith management and XML processing.
